What We Do

Halton Industry Education Council facilitates communication and collaboration between employers, educators, and students and their parents. We work in partnership with Halton District School Board, Halton Catholic District School Board, Sheridan College, and numerous local businesses to develop and implement mutually beneficial community-based educational initiatives and programs.

ApprenticeSearch.com

A free service intended to help connect apprentices with employers across Ontario. While database registration is only available to employers and job seekers, the information and resources on the website are available to the public.

Career Centre

This initiative is designed to complement our long-standing grade 8 program and help students learn more about themselves, their career choices, work environment preferences, and career opportunities best matched to these early inclinations.

EmployerRegistry.ca

The website acts as a single point of contact for employers looking to get involved with short, medium, and long-term educational programs, ranging from one-hour career talks to full-semester cooperative education.
