Halton Industry Education Council hosts another successful Men as Career Coaches

InsideHalton.com – April 30, 2017 | One was a high school dropout, two immigrated to Canada as youngsters, another began a new career in his 40s and two were teenagers. But all had inspiring stories of success and determination to share during Men as Career Coaches (MACC), presented by Halton Industry Education Council HIEC). The event, in its eighth year, brings together mentors and male students from across Halton and was held last Wednesday at the Burlington Convention Centre.

Burlington students involved in Halton Industry Education Council activities next week

InsideHalton.com – April 13, 2017 | The Halton Industry Education Council (HIEC) is involved in a couple of special events with Burlington students next week. The first one will involve students from Assumption and Corpus Christi high schools enrolled in the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program, who will participate in Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) training to build these skills through a series of activities to solve real challenges faced by the Mattamy National Cycling Centre in Milton.
